Jessica Marie Alba results from a family in the multiethnic beginnings (her father is Spanish-American and her mother is Franco-Canadian). She undergoes during all her childhood the perpetual removals imposed by the work of her military father: from California in the Mississippi, while passing by Texas to return to California in 1990.
Decided to become actress as of her youth, Jessica Alba is twelve years old when it starts her first courses of comedy. In 1993, it takes down a minor part in Camp nowhere, a service which requires only two weeks of turning. But the destiny decides some differently: following the desistance from one of the principal actresses, the realizer calls upon it to replace it, allured, says one, by the glare… of his hair!
After these not very orthodoxe beginnings under fires of the projectors, the career of Jessica Alba continues slowly but surely. Some commercials and popular televised series (Flipper, Beverly Hills) rythment thus a regular course and without clashes. With the cinema, these first roles of importance, it finds them in 1999 in comedies P.U.N.K.S. and College attitude, at the sides of Drew Barrymore.

Its career boostée on large screen, it incarnates a star of hip-hop in becoming in Honey (2004) and makes turn the head of Bruce Willis by interpreting a sensual stripper in removed from rim and very dark Sin City (2005) of Robert Rodriguez. In addition to the already quoted rewards, Jessica Alba obtained the DVD Exclusive Award 2003 for THE SLEEPING DICTIONARY, Saturn Award of Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Film and a quotation at this price for “Dark Angel”, the ALMA Award 2000 of the best hope for the first season of “Dark Angel”.
