DARFUR
Hollywood wants to deliver a message of HOPE!
Documentary Darfur Now, presented Sunday in preview at the International Festival of film of Toronto, in the presence of the actor George Clooney, shows enouvelle once the interest which carry of the American stars and a large Hollywoodian studio (Warner Brothers) to the crisis of Darfur.
Far from the stereotypes and inventory of fixtures of daily violences, this film sticks “to show the hope”, as the producer explains it, Ted BRAUN. In Africa, in the United States and in China.
It follows the course of six very different people who endeavour to find a solution with this conflict.
Among them, a Californian militant, the prosecutor of the international penal Court and a woman of Darfour who joined the rebellion after the death of his son.
