Nationality?
The films benefit from international collaborations
Cannes, capital of the international and world cinema, as long as it becomes difficult to allot a nationality to a film. A detail? Undoubtedly, except to consider the assistances to which some of these films can claim.

- Les chansons d’amour by Christophe Honoré
- Le Scaphandre et le Papillon by Julian Schnabel
- De l’autre côté by Fatih Akin
- No Country for Old Men by frères Coen

- La nuit nous appartient by James Gray
- La forêt de Mogari by Naomi Kawase
- Promets-moi by Emir Kusturica
- Secret Sunshine by Lee Chang-dong
- Breath by Kim Ki-duk
- 4 mois, 3 semaines et 2 jours by Cristian Mungiu
- Tehilim by Raphael Nadjari
- Lumière silencieuse by Carlos Reygadas
- Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Parannaud
