How does one qualify the sufficient age to marry?

It is said that a person reached the age nubile. This age confers the right to contract a civil wedding. With out confusing with the matrimonial majority, which is the age allowing to do without the assent of his/her parents to marry. Since 2005, in France, the age nubile is fixed at 18 years old for both boys and girls.
