Professional visit March 15, 2007 :

Meeting place at “Place Jean Mace”, near the Poste Office “La Poste” at 8:15 am. My team met at Part Dieu station around 7:45 am. Agnes drove her car and we went to the venue given.

We introduced ourselves and explained our respective functions followed by a video presentation to present and explain the project. This project will be opened in 2009. Principal aim of this is to welcome and maintain the High Speed Trains, especially those who travel to the South of France.

Every said TGV will be technically reviewed every 5000 kilometres (3� 106.86 miles) or every 2 days and recharges all the necessary during the travel.

We encountered about 20 field workers who were working on the screws and bolts. I had a piece of rail from there for my collection made of “Steel 52”.

We ended the visit around 12 noon. We proceed to the restaurant named “Au Bureau”. We had our orders and I had a Salmon sliced with vegetable cake and coconut delights and chocolates.

After this we say goodbye to Christophe the tour guide and we� had proceed to the office, it was already 2:30 pm.
